On November 1, 2007, Meredith Kercher found herself home alone. Her roommates had gone off with friends or family for the night and her downstairs neighbours were taking a long weekend away. On this night, someone entered Meredith's flat in Perugia, Italy, and committed heinous acts which ultimately ended Meredith's life. One of Meredith's roommates, Amanda Knox, who was studying abroad found herself to be the primary suspect in Meredith's death. Her boyfriend of just 10 days found himself in the same predicament. Over the next four years, both Amanda and Rafael were tried and convicted of this crime, not once but twice! However, they were both exonerated and a new suspect was arrested and convicted in Meredith's murder.
