Austin’s main argument: the price, the age, and the timeline don’t add up for Utah. If Detroit is looking for a massive return, why would the Mammoth blow up a gradual build for a 29-year-old center entering the back half of his career? He also gets into why Utah keeps getting tossed into every rumor cycle: flashy new market, aggressive ownership, strong facilities, playoff team, and plenty of trade assets. That makes the Mammoth an easy team for insiders to mention — whether the fit is real or not.
