Welcome, once again, to the Dynasty of Dads weekly podcast. Tonight’s episode is titled Story Time! During storytime, children are picking up on how to interact with books based on how they see adults using them. Holding the book right side up, starting at the front of the book and following words along left to right are all skills that are being taught when reading a book to your child. Reading stories introduces your child to new words they can use to help describe the world around them, it expands their vocabulary as well as shows different experiences in the world. We all know it’s important, but tonight, we will discuss how to make it an even better experience with our kids. Sit back, relax, and let become better parents together. About the podcast: There are two stereotypes of dads; the cold, less emotional disciplinarian, and the other extreme is what I like to call the sitcom dad, silly, incompetent parent that can't be trusted with important household responsibilities. Well, the goal of this podcast is to redefine the modern dad. Myself and guests will share their experiences and stories to help us be the best parents we can be.
Guest: Matt is the founder of "Beard Laws" and the author of two children's books, "Dad, Don't Shave Your Beard" and "Daddy Saves Christmas"
