Sorry it’s been a very long time since I put anything out I recently had surgery. And kind of put the show on hiatus without any announcement. Dysphoria is napping. But I’m trying to get content out more consistently. (I say from the ninth time in four years.) anyway this episode is with my sister, Mel Redgrave. Because I needed to nerd out about some rap shit her track

Closing track  Mel Redgrave "We Have Abydos At Home"

Twinkrot was gracious enough to make her podcasting debut hanging out with Maxelle

CHECK OUT HER BANDCAMP//BUY HER MUSIC

Here is what River FM suggests. We describe the episode as

In this engaging conversation, Dysphoria and Twinkriot explore a variety of themes, including music genres, personal identity, and cultural shifts. They discuss the nuances of hyperpop, the healing power of music, and the evolution of masculinity. The dialogue also touches on the disappointment in cultural icons like Radiohead and the generational divide between millennials and zoomers, all while sharing personal anecdotes and reflections on their journeys.

Dysphoria lives in Kensington, a less trendy area of Brooklyn.

• Mavica, known as Twinkrot, creates music across various genres.
• The concept of hyperpop is debated as a genre.
• Music can serve as a healing tool for personal struggles.
• Disappointment in cultural icons can affect one's music taste.
• Navigating gender identity is a personal journey.
• Masculinity has evolved and is now more fluid.
• Cultural shifts impact how music and identity are perceived.
• Generational differences shape perspectives on music and culture.
• Humor plays a significant role in discussing serious topics.

Just been busy grinding, like crazy and I’ve been in temporary retirement so tara hit me up to do a last episode and here we are we’re probably gonna do part two of us later this week

We both went into it with no plan and started getting some serious topics. There’s probably things we wish we could’ve articulated on a little bit better or rephrased or you know whatever but I didn’t bother to edit it out anyway enjoy.

The following is a  raw recording of the conversation Tara and I had a few days after Charlie Kirk was killed  I’m leaving this unedited because I am audibly caught off guard When Tara  critiques my output and  expresses  her fears and her feelings on the aftermath

At one point I sincerely ask her how to be a better ally Which  is the exact type of shit I make fun of people for  so  i think it worth it as is 💗

indica and I will be back with a new episodes soon
