In this episode, I will be speaking with Sen Zahn, who is Chinese Canadian and the host of the podcast series Beyond Asian: Stories of a Third Culture. Sen moved to Calgary, Canada from China when she was 6 years of age and then moved to Montreal, Canada at 18. Even though she was still living in the same country, she had to learn a third language because the primary language spoken in Montreal is French. Sen has also returned to live in China for 1 year, and she is currently living in Berlin, Germany. As you can see, Sen has lived all over the world and has struggled with understanding her identity.
