Karen and Richard usually spend half of each year in Seville and the other half split between a home in northern California and traveling the world. Karen and Richard believe that you absolutely do not have to settle for boring and predictable travel at any age. Karen has authored several books. Seville's New Normal: Insider Tips for Visitors 2022 answers questions about visiting Seville in 2022. Dancing in the Fountain: How to Enjoy Living Abroad is her entertaining look at living in Seville. After she and Richard took a 6,000 mile spontaneous trip through 13 countries by train, Karen wrote Adventures of a Railway Nomad: How Our Journeys Guide Us Home. 

Two of her other books are 101 Ways to Enjoy Living Abroad: Essential Tips for Easing the Transition to Expat Life and Pack Light: Quick & Easy Tips For Traveling Everywhere with Exactly the Right Stuff.
