In this episode Sam interviews Leandro, who is better known by his Twitter handle @Invesquotes. Leandro is 26 years old and was born and lives in Spain. He graduated in economics in 2017 and started working as a Business Consultant for a global consulting firm.
He stills work in that role up to this day. His interest in investing started while he was in university where he started reading books about Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch. Even though he was interested in individual stock investing he followed Buffett’s advice for people who don’t work in the industry and started dollar cost averaging index ETFs.
As he continued doing periodical allocations to these funds, he kept on reading and decided about a year ago that he wanted to give individual stock investing a try, and that’s what he did.
He has gone from a low level of research while he was allocating capital to index funds, to a detailed research on any company he invests in.
Seeing that he was researching companies thoroughly, he decided to start a newsletter to write down his thoughts and help others to get their due diligence process started. Writing everything down has improved hisprocess too.
Several months after starting his twitter journey, Kris (@FromValue) asked me if I wanted to contribute to his service Potential Multibaggers.
