For today's care plan we discuss the FESS procedure. This is a fairly common ENT procedure that you will most likely encounter early on in your training. It is important that you think about the various tubes you might want to use for intubation and also discuss with the surgeon to see if they have a preference for the type of anesthetic. Overall, pretty straightforward - Remember...don't smash the mask on the patient's nose after the surgery!
