As the playoffs roll on there is plenty of envy flying around amongst Flyers fans. At this point teams are dropping like flies every week as the unconventional NHL season is finally finding its way to an end. With a wide range of competitiveness and controversy in series played around the league, it's easy for fans to compare their hometown Flyers to any of the teams showing success in the playoffs. However, it's important for fans to realize a success story is not set in stone and that the Flyers could be back in the race, quicker than assumed by the frustrated fanbase. With a couple of additions, the Flyers, are capable of bringing in a much better team effort all around. Even if there are minimal moves made, the exceptions should bat this team has enough internal talent to resolve a majority of these issues internally. One big piece the Flyers have been looking for all year is a top pairing defender to compliment Ivan Provorov. Seth Jones' name has been swirling around the rumor mills, even if they are only rumors, it is an opportunity to discuss the possibility. Jones is the type of player that almost every team would covet and the type of the Flyers would invest heavily in brining over to the franchise. They have the pieces, but time will tell if the opportunity is even available.
