This week, we count down the classic alternative songs that went straight to the toppermost of the poppermost on some chart, somewhere in the world in the 1980s.  Yowsah, this was a tough one...

Because we have a hard time focusing sometimes, we also discuss kids' TV, some, uh, interesting  million dollar O3L tie-in product ideas, cookware, Halford's Batmobile, the return of ABBA...and, hey, what's that on page 602 of the Sears catalogue?  We also pay tribute to the late, great countdown master himself, Casey Kasem, from whom you will hear some rather colorful language.  Warning: This one's not for the kiddies.  Zoinks, Shaggy!
