This week, hosts Isabella and Elizabeth speak with Father Walter J. Smith, who has been a Jesuit priest for over 60 years after attending both BC High School and Boston College. A true Renaissance man, Father Smith is also a psychologist, clinician, consultant, CEO, and a lifelong cook. His recently released memoir, Faith, Food, & Friendship: Reflections and Recipes from a Jesuit’s Abundant Life, doubles as a cookbook, including 175 recipes that reflect cuisine from all over the world and even an Indian dish once recommended to him by Mother Teresa.
Tune in to hear Fr. Smith’s perspective on a life of faith in God, in oneself, and in the unique qualities that allow us all to add value to different communities, and learn that doors will open to you if you are only brave enough to knock on them.
