Our fourth installment of EarSplitz is must listen podcasting. You’ll get lots of great tips from Jess Smith of Hard Coeur Coaching and Leslie Myers of Foodsense Now. And Kebby Holden tells us about the Collective Beat and the Coeur Black Friday Sale.
We also speak with Michelle Bandur, a member of the Coeur team, television reporter for KETV NewsWatch 7 in Omaha, Nebraska. As a television reporter, Michelle is used to getting feedback about her work. But she received something in the mail from an anonymous viewer that changed her life. Someone mailed Michelle a dollar bill with a mean-spirited note, telling her to use the money to fix her “big, fat nose and the bags under her eyes.”
Michelle was determined to turn that bully’s dollar into something positive and good. With a team of endurance junkies, she helped create a FREE triathlon club for girls ages 8-14. The bully’s dollar multiplied into thousands of dollars and service hours to provide free equipment, coaching and mentoring to help the girls succeed.
