Early Glaucoma Screenings Could Save Sight In China

When left too late glaucoma can lead to irreversible sight loss, which is why latest research carried out by Queen’s University Belfast, Wenzhou Medical University, Renmin University of China and Orbis International, focused on early prevention.
 
Professor Nathan Congdon from Queen’s University Belfast and Director of Research at Orbis International spoke with us about the research and what it could mean for millions of people living with glaucoma in countries like China, where early diagnosis numbers are very low.
