I finally understand what people meant when they would tell me to get pissed off in sports. Growing up, I was a soft kid, and still am at heart, so I had a hard time being super aggressive, which is sort of important in the sport of football. My coaches would try to help me with this by telling me things like, "Get angry", "Imagine they hit your mom!" or "All of them want to beat you up!". They all meant good and wanted me to get out of my head and use what I had: a strong body that could perform much better than what I was showing. I've always been kind at heart. I didn't like being super aggressive for a few reasons, 1) I didn't see the point in most cases 2) I wasn't very angry, so "Turning it on" was difficult unless I was pissed off. However, life has an interesting way of teaching you lessons. When I was young, I didn't have a lot of anger; now, it's much easier to use that emotion. However, it can be hard to control. Using anger, or other "Negative" emotions is a powerful source of energy and motivation, yet it must be channeled into something, not allowed to run free. Being angry isn't a state to live in, when used appropriately, it unleashes a whole new side of yourself.

Priorities. That is a heavy word. Most of us claim to know what they are and behave in accordance with them. On this week's episode I dive into how that may be further from the truth than most would like to admit!

One of the main reasons I started this podcast was to give myself an outlet, to be honest and to hold myself accountable. One thing I hate finding within myself is hypocrisy. Speaking about one thing and doing another... Well, I need to tell y'all something and it ain't the easiest thing to say, so listen up.
#EarnYourGoodDay ain't always easy, but always is necessary
It's been 2 years... Holy buckets... How things have totally changed, and how some are exactly the same... This show started out with a goal of only doing 26 episodes a year. Yet, since the get, I have produced and released one episode every single week for the past 104 weeks. I have never once not released an episode. Some are better than others, but every week, one is released. There are a few lessons that stand out more than the others. Listen in to find out the 3 lessons that have stood the test of success and failure.

Diabetes. A disease that impacts just about every American alive today. A disease that hundreds of billions of dollars are spent on each year, and that number is ever-growing. Yet in 9/10 cases, the disease is 100% preventable...
So why do so many struggle with it? That is a whole other can of worms that we don't have time to get into. Whether you have diabetes, are at risk for it, or are health conscious, everyone can benefit from what is discussed today.
We cover the three critical areas of one's life that, when kept in check, result in an extremely high level of health and basis for improvement in almost every other area of life as well.

Do you set big goals? Are you looking to accomplish the dreams you've had since you were a kid? If you listen to this show, the answer is most likely, almost Definitely, yes! How most people go about things around this time of year seems to fail. A lot... There is a simple step that many people underutilize or skip entirely. It will determine if you truly make a lasting change or if you continue down the road of lying to yourself and breaking even the smallest promises you keep to yourself.
P.S. I said I would give up Caffeine, but I will not do so for the 100 Days. All other items mentioned, yes. Not caffeine though.

Well folks, that's a wrap on our short series on diet basics. We covered the basics of digestion and absorption, covered bulking and fat loss basics. This was FAR from a complete view of any one of these topics. It was meant to give you the foundation to set up your own plan to achieve your aesthetic goals and a better understanding of the importance of micronutrients in these processes. We will dive further into each of these areas next year and give more detailed information and techniques you can use TODAY to start working towards your goals. This week we wrapped up the series and added one last tidbit on body recomposition, losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time. This week there was a BIG announcement on a new venture I and my business partner are starting beginning January first of 2024, to help you finally break free from the cycle of starting to get fit only to fall off a few days or weeks later. This will give you a team of coaches supporting you every step of the way! Everything you need will be provided for you. all you have to do is follow the plan!
