Earth-2.net Presents...

To best illustrate how boring "The Lazarus Experiment" and "42" are, Dan and Mike take a detour to debate the cinematic validity of Weekend at Bernie's.

Only The Shadow knows Joey's Christmas Story. Well, now you do too, but don't tell him. He gets a bit tetchy sometimes.

Christmas is a time for love and sharing, as well as peace and happiness. It's also a time for shooting bad guys, apparently. In the very first For Better or Worse doubleheader, Shana and Mike discuss and remake the overly complicated Lethal Weapon and the near-perfect Die Hard.

A Christmas Carol is a timeless classic that every TV show seems content to rip apart at some point or another. In this TV 101, Will talks about some of the better explorations of the holiday classic, says "Bah! Humbug!" to some of the less good, and wonders why one character is always so annoying.

As we near the end of the Earth-2.net: The Show 2012 Advent Calendar, Mike dives into three more independent comic books: Blackacre #1, I Love Trouble #1, and Supreme #67.

Just in time for Christmas, Will and Hannah are back with Big Damn Heroes 38, and aww, look at Willow and the adorable little Bambi. Wait, what is she doing? Over on Buffy, the price of magic and the aftermath of the season five finale are explored. Oh, and the show's still going after Buffy sacrificed herself last season, so there's that. And even though it pretty much means perpetual suffering for one of the characters, Angel's back on the upswing. Also, another character gets hella pregnant. Join The Heroes as they cover the two-part Buffy episode "Bargaining," and Angel's "Heartthrob" and "That Vision Thing."

The other day, when Mike looked at a batch of recent Marvel comics, he had so much fun he decided to do it again: The Amazing Spider-Man #699.1, Avengers Arena #1, and Cable and X-Force #1.

It's Christmastime, and Dan and Jonathan are here to cover three truly awful Christmas specials: "Cobra CLAWs Are Coming to Town" (GI Joe: A Real American Hero), He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special, and "Have Yourself a Morlock Little X-Mas" (X-Men).

In episode 585, Mike looked at several recent Marvel publications, and today he does the same for DC. Those books are Batgirl #15, Talon #1, and Team 7 #3.

Things get weird the week before Christmas on Dread Media! First up, Desmond and Duane take a look at kids killing their parents for the holidays in The Children. Then Devil Dinosaur Jr. tells us all about what he would do to Caroline Munro in his Stay Scary review of Don't Open till Christmas. Then, a healthy does of Eurotrash erotica as Desmond gets a load of two Blu-rays by sleaze auteur Jess Franco: Female Vampire and Exorcism. Take a listen and then have a shower. There are songs as well: "The Kids Who Wanna Play With the Dead" by Lordi, "Fall Children" by AFI, "My First Christmas (As a Woman)" by The Vandals, "Zillion Dollar Sadist" by Turbonegro, and "Step Into Christmas" by The Business.
