Not only was your host unfazed by electricity's attempt to kill him and stop the show, the show happens to be a first! The whole episode is dedicated to one interview. Desmond was so fascinated by Dathan Auerbach's Kickstarter campaign for his upcoming novel Penpal, the two talked for an hour! The true social media story behind the novel is sure to be insightful for those interested in the future of publishing. Then, at the very end of the show, Tom Deja emerges with another first: a Macabre Musical Theatre / review based on the brand new film Cabin in the Woods. All this and tunes to boot! "Kickstart my Heart" by Between the Buried and Me, "Childhood's End" by Iron Maiden, and "Stalker Song" by Danzig. Check out Dathan's Kickstarter page here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1153987072/penpal. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Follow @dreadmedia on Twitter!

With but a few exceptions, comic book characters aren't known for capturing the hearts and minds of the entire world. But, nearly 75 years after his debut in Action Comics #1, Superman remains a worldwide icon. Be it the countless DC comic books or the radio show, the Saturday morning cartoons or the timeless movie starring Christopher Reeve, the music inspired by the character or the near-perfect costume, or simply the message of "truth, justice, and the American way," there's something about Superman that has inspired us all. That said, today, to celebrate the 500th episode of Earth-2.net: The Show, we proudly present our tribute to the creation of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster: Superman! The With "The Curse of Fenric" and "Survival," the classic era of Doctor Who has come to a close, and so ends a major chapter for Bigger on the Inside. Join Dan and Mike as they discuss what Sylvester McCoy brought to the program and what he was lacking, Ace's impact on viewership and future companions, as well as Anthony Ainley's legacy as The Master and his charm. Before the episode ends, however, the guys also dig into the "Search Out Space" episode from the children's program Search Out Science, and "Dimensions in Time," the Doctor Who / EastEnders crossover.

Remember when Mike started his look at the DCnU all the way back in September 2011? Well, all these months later he's offering up the final chapter in that review series, and those books are All-Star Western #1, Aquaman #1, Batman: The Dark Knight #1, Blackhawks #1, The Flash #1, The Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men #1, Green Lantern: New Guardians #1, I, Vampire #1, Justice League Dark #1, The Savage Hawkman #1, Superman #1, Teen Titans #1, and Voodoo #1.
