Earth-2.net Presents...

It's April and the guys are talking about books with February cover dates (Archie Giant Series Magazine #479, Archie #628, Tomb of Dracula #68, American Vampire #22, Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #461, and Disney-Pixar / Muppets Presents: The Treasure of Peg Leg Wilson), but you'll forget and forgive the delay once Dan and Mike begin to gush over comic book ads of the 1970s. Also, these world-shattering questions are asked: Who the bloody hell are The Sylvers? Did Lionel Richie drop in for a photobomb? Is that a Sea-Monkey's tail or something else? And what does Josie offer Alan in an ad for Hostess Fruit Pies? Make sure to visit the Earth-2.net store: http://store.earth-2.net

Join Will and Hannah on a very romantic edition of Hey, Gurlfriend, as they cover their top five geeky romantic films! Never heard of some of them? That's okay, neither has Hannah. Also, Will comes dangerously close to revoking Hannah's geek card. Make sure to visit the Earth-2.net store: http://store.earth-2.net

We celebrate the latest inductee to our Hall of Great, Great Men by discussing one of the greatest sunuvabitches of all time! We examine James Woods' life, dissecting some of The Boys Outta Brooklyn's favorite roles, and figuring out why he's one of the most enduring character actors of all! Plus, Sean Young sends out creepy dolls, Jack O'Halloran stands alone, and the perils of Celebrity Corner. You know you're bored enough to end all existence, so get to clicking!

In the penultimate BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad review episode, Kellen sings along and Mike does some method reviewing as the duo tackles the next set of episodes: "Indies," "Three Days," "Leon Sykes," "Blues," and "Greatful Sound."

The immortal sorceress Morgaine and her wicked son Mordred seek to claim Excalibur as their own ("Battlefield"), then The Doctor aims to better Ace by forcing her to face an evil she felt in her youth ("Ghost Light"). Also: Dan gives The Doctor a rather unassuming name, Mike calls one of these two stories his new favorite, and both Ian Wilson and Tom Deja make appearances.

This week, as they review the sleazy giallo film Strip Nude for Your Killer, Desmond and Darryll talk about whiskey and black leather. Nothing new there. Devil Dinosaur Jr. takes a look at George Romero Presents: Deadtime Stories, Volume 1 in a new Stay Scary. Desmond returns to review season two of Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, and goes through some feedback before calling it a show! Tunes are included, as always: "Take it Like a Woman" by Alice Cooper, "Black Leather" by Guns N' Roses, "George Romero" by The Sprites, "Wolf Rape" by Chris Leavins and Shawn Pierce (from Todd and the Book of Pure Evil), and "Art of Denial" by Madlove. This episode of Extra Lives is all about shame. Well, video games too, but mostly shame, as the guys share the Top Five Games in their Hall of Shame. I'm just going to type shame one more time. Shame. Also, mostly spoiler-free thoughts on Mass Effect 3, more playthrough reveals, and Aaron's dirty secrets. Now is the time to get your questions in for Episode 50!

Big Damn Heroes has hit episode 23, and the overwhelming consensus about most of the episodes covered today is "..." Highlights include the sex that will not end, suddenly James Bond, and drugging people into eeeeeevil. Oh, wait, did I say highlights? I meant lowlights. The actual highlights of this episode include a brief return of one of The Heroes' favorite Big Bads, and the beginning of a redemption arc for another character. Also, robots. Join Hannah and Will as they cover Buffy's "Superstar" and "Where the Wild Things Are," and Angel's "Eternity" and "Five by Five."

Captain Britain is here to bow at the feet of Captain America! Well, okay, not quite. It's Ian Wilson's look at the many attempts to bring Captain America to the screen, including the recent Chris Evans vehicle / Avengers tie-in film.
