Welcome to the X-Men, a C2E2 2011 panel.

Green Lantern, a C2E2 2011 panel.

In this mammoth episode, Desmond and Darryll finally talk about the elephant in the room. They also talk about Dario Argento and the Blu-ray release of his film Inferno. Then Desmond goes solo on Devil's Playground before tackling a bunch of awesome feedback. The following terror tunes can be heard: "Maiden, Mother & Crone" by The Sword, "Inferno Finale" by Keith Emerson, "The Rage" by Judas Priest, and "Going Down" by The Creepshow. In "Destiny of the Daleks," the Daleks seek to resurrect Davros in an attempt to gain a tactical advantage over the Movellans. And in "City of Death," the Time Lords visit contemporary Paris and stumble upon an alien's plan to send the entire planet back through time.

Ian translates Christian Bale's Batman into the Queen's English, James valiantly fights a cold, Mike gives a frightening insight into his dreamscape, and all three hosts sing as they finally finish (for now) their Dark Knight Discussions by discussing The Dark Knight.

Though their task of covering the entire DC Animated Universe is complete, James and Mike are far from done discussing the DCAU! In this mammoth, five-hour series finale, you'll receive answers to dozens of e-mails and voicemails, lists galore, fond memories (and one not-so-fond memory), behind the scenes secrets, and one more clip segment by Ian Wilson (complete with a dream sequence). Of course, it wouldn't be an episode of World's Finest Podcast without impressions, sexual innuendos, jabs at continuity, and a few grades / rankings that are sure to cause a stir.

Ian Wilson fights through his flu to join Dave Probert for two more episodes of Blake's 7. In "Mission to Destiny," Avon and Cally hunt a murderer on a sabotaged ship while the Liberator embarks on a mercy mission. And in "Duel," Blake and Travis are forced into a fight to the death by ethereal beings who have clearly watched the Star Trek episode "Arena." They also discuss religions based on The Shawshank Redemption, a Blake's 7 version of The Benny Hill Show, and Ian is greatly disturbed by a picture of a 1970s Doctor Who monster. Which one? You'll have to listen to find out.

This week, pool your cash, because we are low budget! First up, Desmond and Darryll take a look at the Criterion release of 1970's Equinox. Then, it's chicks and chainsaws time as Desmond goes solo on the first season of Chainsaw Sally and Faces of Schlock: The Boobs and Blood Edition. The following lo-fi tunes were probably recorded on reel-to-reel, even though that is much more expensive than recording in Pro Tools, so never mind: "We Die Young" by Alice in Chains, "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants" by Dillinger Escape Plan, "Crazy, Crazy Mama" by Roky Erickson, "Vampira" by Devin Townsend Band, and "My Poor Friend Me" by Frank Turner. That is all. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Join the Facebook group! Visit www.audibletrial.com/dreadmedia to get a free audiobook!
