Earth-2.net Presents...

In this episode, Hal's nightmare turns Tom Kalmaku into a seagull, which interferes with the mechanic's rendezvous with his childhood sweetheart. Oh, and some guy named Sinestro makes his debut in this issue: Green Lantern #7.

As a planet is set to die, the Doctor discovers that he shouldn't judge races by beauty ("Galaxy 4"). The crew then takes a week off as hapless humans are exterminated by the Daleks ("Mission to the Unknown"). And lastly, the Doctor influences the outcome of the Trojan War ("The Myth Makers").

Shifting focus away from the more recognizable characters, James and Mike begin their discussion of The Zeta Project. The first five episodes they cover are "The Accomplice," "His Maker's Name," "Change Of Heart," "Remote Control" and "The Next Gen."

In this "green" episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick celebrates Earth Day by interviewing eco-horror author of Meat and Garbage Man, Joseph D'Lacey. He then reviews the sleazy dwarfsploitation flick, The Sinful Dwarf and the unfortunate Murder is Like Sex. What do these films have to do with Earth Day, you ask? I got nothin'. Listen to the following terror tunes: "This Island Earth" by The Misfits, "Welcome to the Garbage Dump" by Turbonegro, "Black Dwarf" by Candlemass, "Murder in High Heels" by KISS, and "Earth Died Screaming" by Tom Waits. Check out Joseph at the following sites: josephdlacey.com, bloodybooks.com and horrorreanimated.com. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213.

This week Dan and Mike discuss garishly colored mutants (Gambit Classics), whether kids will be grabbed by certain comics (Marvel Adventures Spider-Man: Jumping to Conclusions) and demons punching other demons in the face (Hellboy: Seed of Destruction).

The Dragon Ball franchise is one that is near and dear to the hearts of both Kellen and Brennan, however neither expected much out of the US-produced Dragonball Evolution. Did the movie exceed the low expectations or was it just an overall disappointment?

In this episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick fights off another cold while interviewing author Michael McBride, reviewing his novel Bloodletting, and the film Crowley. Tunes include: "Animal" by Mindless Self Indulgence, "Bloodletting" by The Haunted, "The Evil That Men Do" by Iron Maiden, "Love Under Will" by New Math, and "Revelations" by Iron Maiden. Visit Michael at www.michaelmcbride.net, and buy his books at www.horror-mall.com. Pardon the sniffles and enjoy the NeoCitran-laced rambling. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213.

Dan and Mike cram a lot of Doctor Who talk into this episode. First they give their thoughts about the recent special, "Planet of the Dead." After that they discuss "The Chase," which features the return of The Daleks, as well as the departure of Ian and Barbara. And not only does Steven Taylor join the TARDIS crew in "The Time Meddler," it's also the first time we see another Time Lord, and it closes out the second season.
