Earth-2.net Presents...

In their longest show yet, James and Mike thoroughly dissect "World's Finest," the epic three-part Superman / Batman crossover!

While reviewing Daredevil: Blood of the Tarantula, Marvel Adventures Iron Man #12, New Avengers #40, New Warriors #11 and X-Men: Legacy #210, one of the hosts decided that a certain book could... mate with itself. But there's only one way to discover which book received the profanity-laced score: download the show.

In this super-long episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick interviews the publisher of Radical Comics, Barry Levine, about new comics, movie soundtracks and KISS! Then Michael David Sims from Earth-2.net joins Desmond to review Radical Comics' first two offerings: Hercules #1 and Caliber #1. That's not all! DW joins the Dread Media family with a review of Siren for the PS2 in a new segment of video game reviews called Brainscan. Tunes include: "Shout at the Devil" by Motley Crue, "God of Thunder" and "Shock Me" by KISS and "Goin' Blind" by The Melvins. Enjoy!

To celebrate their 11th anniversary in style (or as stylish as these two get), Jenny and Mike got in front of the microphone to discuss a comic book that is very near and dear to their hearts: Preacher! (More specifically, they focused on Gone to Texas, the first volume in the series.)

In this rare Monday episode of Earth-2.net: The Show, Des and Mike discussed five comic books: Caliber #1, Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four #35, Mighty Avengers #12, Ultimate Spider-Man #121 and X-Force #3.

In this episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick interviews filmmaker and founder of Rue Morgue Magazine, Rodrigo Gudino. He then goes on to review his first two short films, The Eyes of Edward James and The Demonology of Desire before reviewing the fifth volume of Lurker Films' HP Lovecraft Collection, Strange Aeon. There's news and feedback to boot! Tunes include: "Murders in the Rue Morgue" by Iron Maiden, "The Thing That Should Not Be" by Primus and "A Necessary End" by Saltillo. What do My Chemical Romance, teenagers, The Karate Kid, parking violations and The Crow: Wicked Prayer all have in common? Well, nothing really, except that they're all topics of discussion on this episode of Earth-2.net: The Show.

Lois Lane visits an alternate reality, one where her death caused the rise of a dark empire ("Brave New Metropolis"). Once home, she's greeted by a long-lost friend of the monkey variety ("Monkey Fun"). After that, Brainiac returns ("Ghost in the Machine"), and Superman finally meets Darkseid ("Father's Day").

Of the five comic books Des and Mike spoke about this week (Avengers: The Initiative #11, Hercules #1, The Incredible Hercules #116, Iron Man #28 and War is Hell: The First Flight of the Phantom Eagle #2), three were filled with great storytelling, one was painfully awful and one (sort of) split them.

In this episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick corrects his dumbass mistakes, rants against rants against (yes, it's repeated on purpose) horror fandom, reviews Weed Species by Jack Ketchum and features a short interview with Andrew Migliore of Lurker Films. He also reviews Annabel Lee, The Mist and Sweeney Todd. Tunes include: "Weeds" by Life of Agony, "Short Songs" by Dead Kennedys, "Spectral Mist" by Midnight Syndicate and "Epiphany" by Johnny Depp (as Sweeney Todd).
