  • Hey, an Actor: Michelle Yeoh
The Brothers Wilson finally dive into world cinema as part of International Year, as they look at actress, martial artist, and Bond girl Michelle Yeoh. From the nuanced performance in the lead role of Aung San Suu Kyi biopic The Lady to West-pleasing wire-fu action flick Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and the all-out insanity of 1980s Hong Kong martial arts movie Yes, Madam, this month's selection is certainly diverse! Also, there's the imagery of British commentator Katie Hopkins as a martial artist, discussion of when biopics should be produced, and the next spin of the globe as Ian and Pandy look out for their next international representatives.

  • Twice as Bright, Half as Long - Episode 14.04
Dave and Ian welcome you to their penultimate podcast on Wonderfalls. In "Safety Canary," Jaye and Eric go on their first date, but the animals have other plans for Jaye that involve her helping a zookeeper to steal two macaws for breeding purposes. In "Lying Pig," Eric's wife, Heidi, returns to win him back, and the animals seem to want Jaye to help her. Meanwhile, Mahandra is panicking about having spent the night with Aaron, and Karen is asked to dinner by another doctor at the hospital where Darren works. And in "Cocktail Bunny," Jaye is told by the animals that she needs to "save him from her," so she concludes that Heidi is going to try and kill Eric. Dave start a feature called "Falconry Corner," Ian does an impression of a macaw, and they marvel at the ever-changing internal architecture of The Barrel, Niagra's only bar apparently.

  • Earth-2.net: The Show - Episode 1005
Whilst Comic Reel-lief is on hiatus, Ian Wilson brings you a brand new segment in The Flickchart Forum, in which he and two guests compare lists about films of a certain genre, actor, director, or other viable. To coincide with the 10-year anniversary of Earth-2.net's James Bond podcastthe inaugural segment ranks all 24 official Bond films, with Ian being joined by Andrew "Pandy" Wilson and Tom "Stavros" Hemmings. There's a welcome return to age jokes at the expense of Sir Roger Moore, Pandy learns a new word, Ian says something uneditably tasteless, and Dean Cain gets more mentions than his career probably warrants. The Flickchart Forum will return.

Giels Band, "In the Midnight Hour" by Wilson Pickett, "No One Believes Me" by Kid Cudi, "White Cow" by Space Needle, and "Come to Me (Fright Night)" by Kevin Hufnagel. • Dread Media - Episode 556
This week, we fight to bring you this episode in spite of our neighbors' crazy backyard bonfire party. If only there was an inanimate object that could make them stop. In totally unrelated circumstances, Desmond and Darryll present a review of the seminal John Carpenter film, and Stephen King adaptation, Christine. Then, Desmond gives a unique Dread Media Top Five of inanimate object horror. Only, this time, the top five is not focused on already existing content, but pitches for stories featuring horror centered around inanimate objects. All that and tunes: "Mean Machine" by Sugar Ray, "Christeen" by Devin Townsend, "Foreign Object" by Mountain Goats, and "Bad Things" by Jace Everett. Send feedback to: [email protected].
