This week on Dread Media, we take a look at a film that Darrell and Desmond have talked about a lot on and off the show, but they've never covered it. Until now. Ninja Scroll, the sleazy 1990s anime masterpiece, gets its due this week. Then, Desmond gives you the Dread Media Top Five animated horror films. On top of that, there are tunes: "Swordmaster" by 3 Inches of Blood, "Enter the Ninja" by Die Antwoord, "4/16/05 Saturday" by Fantomas, and "Gigantic" by Helmet. Enjoy! To save his own personal timeline, Spock travels backwards in time and kill his dog ("Yesteryear"). To save a planet in the path of a hungry space cloud, The Enterprise enters said cloud's digestive tract where Spock pulls a Professor X ("One of Our Planets is Missing"). And to save her lovestruck male crewmates, Lieutenant Uhura takes command of the ship and gets shit done ("The Lorelei Signal"). Also: Dan resurrects a World's Finest Podcast character. Friday Night's Main Event, Shotgun Saturday Night, Free for All, Ground Zero: In Your House, Raw is War: it takes a lot of time to cover all of this. Steve Austin takes target practice at top WWF officials, Undertaker finally gets his hands on Shawn Michaels, a match featuring two newcomers and no build almost steals the PPV, and Savio Vega develops a crippling addiction to triple threat matches. And that's just the tip of the iceberg as Kellen and Tom review one of the busiest weeks of the year.

Christian and Aaron return with a brand new PotterWatch! In this edition, they dive into Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Before that, however, there's a tease of the Patreon-exclusive news segment with Dave and Mike. If you like what you hear, please consider becoming a patron of The Show.

This week, Dread Media has two feature reviews of young women giving very raw, commanding performances. First, Darryll and Desmond are shocked and enraptured by the amazing Isabelle Adjani in the disturbing Possession. Then, Tom Deja joins Desmond again to marvel at how amazingly well 16-year-old Sandra Escacena carries the film Veronica. On top of that, there's music: "Get Possessed" by Polkadot Cadaver, "Possession" by John Zorn / Moonchild, "Eclipse" by Doom Side of the Moon, "Blessed and Possessed" by Powerwolf. Ian and Dave begin a new era of TABHAL now that Dave has moved to the North. They also watch three more episodes of Wonderfallls. In "Muffin Buffalo," Jaye is less than happy that she is getting a reputation as someone who helps people, but then finds herself trying to help one of her neighbors while the animals tell her not to help another. In "Barrel Bear," Mahandra and Jaye find themselves at odds over the legendary Millie Marcus who might or might not be first woman to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel and live. And in "Lovesick Ass," Jaye and Eric find themselves helping a Russian woman who has come to America to marry her true love only to discover that it is a 13 year old boy. Dave explains how Chicken Boo influenced his taste in comedy, they appoint an official TABAHL fashion correspondent, and Ian is reunited with one of HAA's greatest nemesis: Spencer Breslin.

Armed only with coffee, donuts, and a phantom mic stand, Pandy and Christian tackle one of their broadest topics yet: the police. They cover everything from crass good ol' boys to feminist roll models. Between ranking their favorite and the least competent men and women of the law, Pandy reveals his ties to one of Britain's finest actors, Christian contemplates an even darker cloning conspiracy than the Mewtwo Project, and both of these bad boys investigate the selection process for crime-fighting cyborg.

This week, it still isn't safe to go into the water - or the woods! First up, Tom Deja joins us again to talk about another Netflix production (this time a good one): The Ritual. Then, Rich the Monster movie Kid reviews the summer-vacation-on-the-water-gone-wrong film Piranha. Tunes included: "Bad Ritual" by Timber Timbre, "Sacrificial Ritual" by Endless Chaos, "Piranha" by Exodus, and "The Rune" by Tyr. Send feedback to: [email protected].
