Every Sunday, the homeless community is invited to CareCuts Knoxville. Outdoors, at 519 Williams Street from 11-3, they receive a warm meal, clothing, shoes, a hot shower, even a haircut! But that's not all, homeless people are provided resources, encouragement, hope and prayer to help move forward and off the streets.
Martha LaRue Baker, better known as "Marti" is the founder of the ministry and explains how this non-profit charity survives on volunteers and donations. She says right now they need tents, sleeping bags, warm clothing, shoes, snacks and monetary donations.
