How you view life drives how you do life.

(Luke 2:8–14 NIV)  And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause a great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those whom his favor rests.”

 We find JOY!

(John 15:4-5,11) --- Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in the vine [Jesus], neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much fruit. However, apart from me you can do nothing. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure…complete…overflowing.

(Romans 15:13 GN) --- May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in Him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.


 We find PEACE!

(2 Thessalonians 3:16 AMP) --- Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord be with you all.

(Philippians 4:7-9 AMP) --- And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ] that peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

(Matthew 1:18–24 NIV)  This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they will call Him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.

 

 

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this…Says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes.  So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field. And all the nations will call you blessed. For you will be a delightful land” says the Lord of hosts.

Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnel, sold under sin...

 

For what I am doing, I do not understand.  For what I will to do that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.

 

Vs 16 - If then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.  But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

 

Vs 18 - For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good that I do not find.

 

Vs 20 - Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

 

Vs 21 - I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.

 

Vs 22 - for I delight in the law of god according to the inward man…But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Galatians 5:17 - For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another so that you do not do the thing that you wish.

 

Vs. 18 - But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.  Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like: of which I tell you beforehand just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 

Vs. 22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

 

Romans 7:24 – O wretched man that I am!  Who will deliver me from this body of death?  I thank God – through Jesus Christ our Lord!  So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
