Randos2Heroes is a style of game I run (solo and with a group) which consists of a few rpg play styles: First off, this is a very OSR style of play, where life is cheap and characters WILL die. PCs (and hirelings) can be made in a couple minutes and recruited back in town. PCs are generated randomly, 3d6 for each attribute, placed as they are rolled. Everyone creates (and runs) 2-4 "Randos". These are 0 level peasants with no money and only a weapon granted by their randomly rolled peasant profession. Secondly, this is a Hexcrawl/Dungeon crawl style of play where the main plot focus is on simply exploring the wilderness for ancient ruins and treasure that litter the overgrown and long forgotten lands that flourished in the distant past. The regional map beyond the 10km hex of the starting town starts out blank. As the PCs explore the terrain and encounters are generated randomly on the fly. As are any dungeon maps when encountered. Thirdly, this is played using the GURPS rule set so it is classless and skill-based. Characters start out rather useless, but over time can be improved and be sculpted into the hero you always wanted to play. It's also the perfect way to teach and learn GURPS starting so small and then working up to high power levels. And lastly, the house-rules and procedures you see used here are available for download and are constantly being refined and updated. If you would like to run your own game of "Randos2Heroes" please consider joining the Rando Army by subscribing to our patreon-like community at www.randos2heroes.com. Members will get access to digital download files and full 1h video episodes at the lowest tier. Hope to see you there! As always, audio version available on all major services.
