We are always advocating that people eat locally-sourced whole foods as possible. Not only as these foods more nutritious, but they have lower toxic chemical burdens. These foods travel fewer distances than foods in our grocery stores. Therefore, they tend to be free of chemical preservatives or plastic wrapping that lengthen freshness.

We know that incorporating raw, whole foods into your life can be an adjustment for some. That’s why we are so glad to be joined by Carla Martins, a raw, vegan chef based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
