On this episode, Ronnie talks to Tien Neo Eamas, who in 2001 because the first Asiantransman to come out. Born in Singapore into a mixed race and mixed class fundamentalist Christian family, he was given the gender marker girl. suffering in extreme isolation, family disownment, trans/gender violence andhatred, compounded with racism, and financial losses resulted in a suicide attempt in 2009. This crucial moment was Tien's spiritual awakening, transforming him from a victim of hatred and suffering to one who chooses joyand power, inspiring and teaching others that in the face of oppression, we need not suffer and be a victim and can instead thrive and make a difference.

Tien teaches Upgrade Your Gender IQ workshops, offers guidance and teachings about gender and spirituality, and is also an artist and performer. He is currently writing his book Upgrade Your Gender IQ, Connecting Soul to Soul.
