Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Acts 1:11. And it reads, “Who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Today, as we pray, let us remember that just as Jesus' departure was miraculous, so will his second return be, bringing with it fulfillment of the promises made to us. The same Jesus, who has been taken up into heaven, will return in the same way we have seen him ascend.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We began in Genesis and will conclude in Revelation by the end of the year.

Today, we are delving into the book of Acts. Our scripture will be taken from Acts 1:8, and it reads: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The Lord wants us to become spiritual witnesses and share his message of love throughout the world. He wants us to extend our reach to the corners of the earth, where his light must shine.

As we pray, let us ask the Lord for strength, knowing that his mission is for us to spread hope to all nations.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As mentioned earlier, our prayer will be aligned with scripture taken from books of the bible. Today, our scripture will be taken from John 16:33. And it reads, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

The Lord is encouraging us to remain hopeful and uplifted, while it is true that the world around us may present challenges and difficulties. He has already triumphed over this very chaos of the world.

As we pray, let us stay positive, for the Lord will grant you peace, and his assurance will bring us comfort and courage as we navigate through the issues of life.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from John 16:22-23. And it reads, “You have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. In that day, you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”

Let us pray with a joyful heart, for God will take away our sorrow and fill our spirit with joy. One day, we will find ourselves with questions that no longer need answers, and our longing for understanding will fade. But the Lord is reminding us that whatever we ask the Father in his name, He will graciously bestow upon us, fulfilling our need and desire.

And it reads, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

As we pray, let us remember that the Lord is the Spirit of truth who is among us, guiding our path. He will reveal to us visions about the future, enlightening our understanding of what is to come and guiding us in our journey of faith.

As we pray, let us focus on the depth of God's love and the lengths to which he went to protect and support us, whom he holds dear. The Lord is reminding us that no one has greater love than the love God has for us. This act of love demonstrates the ultimate commitment and selflessness that God is showering upon us.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our prayer will be aligned with the scripture taken from John 14:27. And it reads, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

As we pray, let us embrace the peace of God and let it fill our hearts. The Lord does not want our hearts to be weighed down by anxiety or fear. So, His peace is a peace that goes beyond our expectations and will deliver us from the world around us.  This gift is unlike anything that the world can offer. It’s a blessed assurance.
