Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, and it reads: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God bringeth into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

As we pray, let us apply this powerful scripture to our lives and equip ourselves with the spiritual armor needed to stand firm in our faith. The Lord is reminding us that the tools we use in our spiritual battles are not physical or material. It is the power from God. Let us see how we can transform our thinking and remain obedient to Christ amidst the chaos surrounding us.

The Lord wants us to participate in a transformative process in which we can dismantle strongholds and align our thoughts with his teachings. These spiritual weapons call us to dismantle false beliefs and actively replace misleading ideas with the truth of his word and honor him. So that arguments will not elevate themselves above the truth of God’s knowledge. This is why we should pray and rely on the mighty power of God.
