    • Usually, once the relationship has been built enough, students will come to you with situations that are hard, and you will need to be able to walk with them through those.
    • When a student tells you about a situation where they are either being hurt, hurting someone else, or threatening to hurt themselves, what is the responsibility of the small group leader?
    • How do you handle those initial conversations when a student confides in you?
    • How do you respond to the statement “If I tell you, you can’t tell anyone, even my parents.”
    • If the decision to report the situation to the Students Staff is made, how do you move forward in a relationship with that student?
    • Sometimes, these situations result in a loss of trust from the student to the Small Group Leader, how can you negate that loss of trust and build trust instead?
