This week's 'Dana White's Contender Series' had 5 great fights, 4 of which were finishes. Aliaskhab Khizriev, Drako Rodriguez, Phil Hawes, and Tafon Nchukwi all ended the night with a contract  BUT, Sherrard Blackledge does get to revisit

COVID-19 REALLY kicked in the door, waving the four-four this weekend, fights were dropping quicker than obese cats running stairs. 

UFC on ESPN+ 34 ended up being 7 fights, which is crazy, BUT, we got fireworks f'sure!

Everyone did their thing, but those last 5 fights came through like Halley's Comet. Brian Kelleher and Andre Muniz might need to see the doctor about finishing so fast. Michel Pereira showed what to do when its the last fight on your contract. Ovince St. Preux made it clear that cats shouldn't get comfy with that Light Heavyweight belt, cause he's coming. AND, Mr Demolition, Alistair Overeem showed us the difference between taking part and that 'there can be only one' mentality!!!

It's 'Day 13' of the 24th Fantasia International Film Festival 

Today's #EchoChamber which was yesterday's, but computer issues and all that. Well, we had a couple of films, both very different, but both asking questions.

First, Dorota Swies & John C Lyons the directors of 'Unearth' starring Adrienne Barbeau, P.J. Marshall, Allison McAtee, Rachel McKeon, Monica Wyche, Brooke Sorenson and Marc Blucas,  which is about farming, fracking and neighbourly relationships.

Then we looked at 'Bleed With Me', the directorial debut from Amelia Moses starring Lee Marshall, Lauren Beatty & Aris Tyros a psychological horror about paranoia, friendship, obsession and the ramifications of where it could lead.

'Intergalactic' by Beastie Boys – 1998

This weekend was full of action, with UFC and Submission Underground.

The Light Heavyweight challenger rollercoaster got a little bit clearer after the Saturday's UFC on ESPN+ 33 and Aleksandar Rakić staking his claim. Mallory Martin and Polyana Viana both made noise at Strawweight. Impa Kasanganay showed why he got that contract, Alexa Grasso burst into the Flyweight division AND at Welterweight, who can deny Sean Brady & Neil Magny.

Then on Sunday we had Submission Underground 17 🥋 where we got to see Craig Jones and Mason Fowler go at it for a third time. As well as Richie Martinez, Roberto Jimenez, Ethan Crelinstein and Amanda Loewen all repped hard!!!
