Echo Chamber

We had Friday and Saturday night fights and they all paid off!!!

'Invicta FC 43' got things popping and those five fights delivered on the action. Juliana Miller starting the night with a sublime display of jiu jitsu. Meaghan Penning brought the energy in her pro debut, and her never say never attitude and work rate carried her to a win.

Hope Chase showed she is not here to play nice and definitely called her shot in the post fight interview.

And that Stephanie Geltmacher right is a shot that definitely put the flyweights on notice.

Things ended with Kayla Harrison shinning bright in her @invictafc & 145lb debut. She showed she'll be a force to contend with

So, Saturday night, 'UFC 255', started with a truly standout performance from Sasha Palatnikov who started as the nail but ended as the sledge hammer.

Alan Jouban let us know that injuries can't keep a good cat down.

And Antonina Shevchenko really showed the evolution in her game, with a display on the ground that was dominate. Just like Paul Craig who controlled a vet and got a tap

Joaquin Buckley, didn't spin, but still banged

While the Brandon Moreno showed us actions definitely speak louder than words.

We ended the night how we started, Valentina Shevchenko and Deiveson Figueiredo still champions. Both had different fights, but both dominate and impressive

There's also some NFL recap and today's (ep 110) @ChinCheckPod breaks it all down, so let's get with it!

- NFL: Week 10: Sunday Games

- Invicta FC 43: King vs. Harrison

- UFC 255: Figueiredo vs. Perez

'Well Thought Out Twinkles' by Silversun Pickups - 2006

Tuesday night was the last of this seasons 'Dana White's Contender Series', but contracts went out to Victoria Leonardo, Tucker Lutz, Gloria de Paula, JP Buys, and Nick Maximov to #TheUltimateFighter so we go over that. Then, we get into it, previewing TWO BIG cards.

First we have 'Invicta FC 43' which will see Kayla Harrison making her 145lb debut against #CourtneyKing and headlined by Emily Ducote vs Montserrat Ruiz for the Strawweight strap.

Then we have 'UFC 255' which is headlined by TWO Flyweight title fights! Valentina Shevchenko vs Jennifer Maia and Deiveson Figueiredo vs Alex Perez.

So, let's preview the upcoming action with today's (ep. 111) @ChinCheckPod

- Dana White's Contender Series: Series 4: Week 10

- Invicta FC 43: Ducote vs. Ruiz

- UFC 255: Figueiredo vs. Perez

'I' by Petey Pablo - 2001

#EFTV might have some topics we hit up a lot, like the BS of bureaucracy, cancel culture and blaming social media for everything. And we hit those things f'sure, as House of Lords clearly scratched Lord Kilclooney a-hole, Octavian's label and PR dropped him on an allegation without investigation and the fake beef with Fleets. BUT, we also talk about Caster Semenya trying to get the European Court to exempt her elevated testosterone, Eddie Hearn, Terri Harper, Heather Hardy & women's boxing, GPS holding white giraffe's, along with the perils of electrified wingsuits

PLUS, finally got round to checking out Misha Green's 'Lovecraft Country' via NowTV. DAMN, this story was fire. Frustration, anger, joy and hope, all wrapped in tremendous performances from Jurnee Smollett, Jonathan Majors, Wunmi Mosaku, Courtney B Vance, Aunjanue Ellis, Abbey Lee, Jamie Chung & Michael K. Williams is incredible!

AND, our Audible of the week, is of course Luke Smitherd's 'The Empty Men'. We caught up with things last week and this was something a little different, but Smitherd definitely came correct with his unique brand of 'made you look, sucker'.

This week:

- French stuntman dies in wingsuit accident

- Eddie Hearn pays for Terri Harper's (WBC world super-featherweight champ) hand surgery

- Heather Hardy believes boxing is systematically stacked against women

- House of Lords hide behind bureaucracy to protect Lord Kilclooney!

- London rapper Octavian dropped by label before investigation into abuse claims!!!

- Backlash to Fleets, not sure bout that!?!

- White giraffe fitted with GPS to keep it safe....huh!

- Caster Semenya appealing to European Court over her elevated testosterone levels!

- Chin check

'Let's Roc' by Petey Pablo - 2004

Saturday we had @UFC and Boxing, so good night for fights!!!

We start off with Terrance Crawford vs Kell Brook and the BIG question was, what will happen when Brook feels the power. Well, we found out in the 4th, Crawford is explosive, but props to Brooks f'sure!

And at 'UFC on ESPN+ 41' the card that nearly wasn't, we had some dropouts on the night, but things still delivered.

Kanako Murata had a great display in her @UFC debut

Tony Gravely really showed he could be a problem at bantamweight

Sean Strickland laughed in the face of anyone who thought this was a quick turnaround. He was relentless and ended things with an exclamation in the second

Khaos Williams though was like, nah son, you took to long. What Williams did to Alhassan might be the new definition of brutal

In the main event Rafael dos Anjos had a tremendous gameplan But Paul Felder stayed in there and never backed down. This was a fun, tough display of pure heart and it was GREAT!

There's also some NFL recap and today's (ep 110) @ChinCheckPod breaks it all down, so let's get with it!

- NFL: Week 10: Sunday Games

- Terrance Crawford vs Kell Brook

- UFC on ESPN+ 41: Felder vs. dos Anjos
