On October 5, 2018, Terrence Woods Jr. disappeared while working with a television production crew near the Penman Mine in Idaho County, Idaho.
There were witnesses.
But for nearly eight years, the identities of most of the people on that mountain have remained largely absent from the public story.
In this episode of Echoes of the Missing, I set out to answer a question that has been bothering me since I first began looking into Terrence’s disappearance:
Who was actually there?
Using publicly available television credits, professional profiles, archived social media posts, news coverage, interviews, and other open-source information, I trace the production of Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine from Montana to Idaho and examine the cast and crew members whose roles, credits, and timelines may place them with the production surrounding Terrence’s disappearance.
Some can be connected to that day with greater confidence than others. For others, the available evidence only establishes that they worked on the production during the relevant period.
This episode does not accuse any member of the cast or crew of wrongdoing.
The goal is much simpler:
To identify the people who may have witnessed the final hours before Terrence Woods Jr. disappeared—and to ask whether, nearly eight years later, someone may remember something that could help bring answers to his family.
