Simran Kaur is a recent law graduate from the University Institute of Legal Studies Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, who worked remotely as a voluntary Research Assistant for Ecocivilization from August to October this year.

She worked on the research project titled “Ban on Plastics and Scope of Circular Economy in India”. She was assigned with the task of producing a Policy Working Paper on exploring and explaining the inadvertent interrelation of the two. Her research also involved critical analysis of the existing legal frameworks, rules of Solid Waste Management prevalent in India as well as imploring the cardinal principles of a Circular Economy.

In the first episode we talk about the roots and characteristics of civilisations with Alexander Lazslo and Heeten. Alexander is the Director of Research at the Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research and  Scientific Director at EARTHwise Centre. Heeten was born in Zimbabwe.
