This is such a classic story. Strong individual with tremendous promise and a future with the company. So guess what, they invest in you and they want you to take on more responsibility. Then a move, then another rung on the corporate ladder it is. Ok, work hard, really hard and then maybe another rung. Wash/rinse/repeat! Or you pull back and realize there is another way, a non-traditional way and I think it is a generational shift. You will quickly realize why Elizabeth has been able to be so successful in business and in life.

Brock is a veteran seller used to selling high volume on Bricklink. I wonder how long my attention could be held sorting those little bricks. (10 minutes I bet!)

What I love about this episode is how Fred cuts his business intentionally and with a plan. We all hear that if you are not growing you are dying. Fred would disagree. Its really important to listen close to this episode. Michael has a full time job, a big job where he has been for a long time. To be able to create large Amazon business also is another big challenge. Add in a co-op warehouse and some software extension development and life gets beyond busy.
