For the first episode of 2024, the Cryptid Creator Corner is coming in hot with an interview with Ed Brisson. Ed is here to chat about his newest series from Boom! Studios - The Displaced. Issue #1 is out February 14th. Ed has teamed up with artist Luca Casalanguida, colorist Dee Cunniffe, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. This is a science-fiction mystery set in Ed's hometown where he lived until about 12 years old and I loved chatting with Ed about the long gestation period for this story and how his thoughts about Oshawa informed the story. Ed also has a few other comics coming out like the trade for Sins of the Salton Sea (AWA Studios) and Predator Last Hunt. This was such a fun conversation and a great way to kick off a new year of awesome comic creator interviews. Be sure to check out Ed's website and add The Displaced to your pull list now!
