"Oh the rest.

Awakened dreams.

On my knees praying

To see what I really need to be.

Oh Sweet Savior

wrestle on

with my heart

with my soul."

MIXNOTES:::

the wideband compressor is the emotion meter for the whole song. It tells you exactly what to pay attention to. The knee is the key. Just cranking that one side to the right draws your attention all over the place. Are you listening closely enough? The attack is like the glue, how many layers do you want to hear? If there's too much going on, the cake is spoiled. Give me just a few things to focus on. Too busy? Lower the attack. Too bland and one dimensional? Raise the attack.

Release is for creating flow. The song will ride much better with a longer release. If you want excitement, you better get that release short. If you want to chill out and enjoy, or focus on a kick snare combo beat every once in a while, make it looong. 2 seconds. LISTEN to perfect it.

Ratio is like shelving. Is the song tight enough together that I can see it on a shelf? Or when I try to put it on the shelf does everything scatter to the floor? Keep in mind, if the knee is huge, we can play with the threshold much above the audio's highest peak.

BEST Acoustic guitar and piano recording to date. So nice and relaxing to listen to, we need some strings next time around:)

MIXNOTES: the smoothness is in the wideband compressor on the master

"Hallelujah.

I can't confess

that you know how I should be living

I can't confess

that I know I should listen"

"All the way from your town

All the way from your home.

Happy, right?

Time again.

Happy mind.

Happy line

Drawn again

Happy sigh.

Give a little more of yourself

Give a little more of this.

Give a little more of yourself.

Somewhere between Buffalo and Philly there is a hill with a small wind farm on it. This song captures it in all its majesty, a happy healthy mother nature.

"Take my word.

Take my words too.

Take my words to heart.

Take my words to heart,

love em

or leave em wrapped around ya.

Just give me this one thing.

Just give me it all.

All the lights are shining above

and all that I am seeing is love

All that I deserve is nothing

but all that I am getting is love.
