(Chinese, English) The good news is that we can all take part in bringing peace and beauty to the world! Our beauty can be expressed in many ways from within, be it through acts of kindness or graceful manners in our daily lives. All of us have to protect, ...

(Chinese, English) In this joyous and festive occasion, Supreme Master Ching Hai teaches us that fun and relaxation are important in our spiritual lives. She also patiently and gracefully answers questions from disciples explaining that we have two choices in life: to stand up with firmness or to submit to our ego. We should be responsible for our own life and grow strong! All of us experience stressful moments, but we must try our best to use our wisdom derived from meditation. In this way, we will develop our potential and ...

(Chinese) Vibration is a kind of fine, subtle light. All scientists know that vibration is a kind of sound and light. If the sound is very fine, it turns into fine, subtle light that can be seen by our physical eyes. That's the basis of the working of television and radio stations: They send out microwave vibrations. All of the great spiritual practitioners emit such fine, subtle light, which is the so-called aura. The aura is a kind of fine, subtle light. It’s said, "The light emitted from the ...

(Chinese) The Quan Yin Method is the simplest and the most natural method. To practice spiritually, we should go with the Tao. We can't use the body or the mind of an ordinary being to practice. We need to give up everything from the body, speech and mind of an ordinary being. The minds of ordinary beings are too used to complicated things, and that’s why very few people can practice the Quan Yin Method. The Quan Yin Method is the best method because to practice it, we don't need to use the ears, eyes, ...

(Chinese) We’ve read a lot of scriptures, and we think we understand them, but actually we don’t. In the scriptures, Shakyamuni Buddha says, "We have to meet a Buddha and learn from the Buddha in order to attain Buddhahood." However, it's not very easy to meet a Buddha. Only those with the most blessings can meet a Buddha. It’s not easy to hear about a Buddha or to see a Buddha, not to mention to become his or her disciple. What is “Buddha (Fo)”? You all know that “Fo” means “Fo Tuo,” ...

(Chinese) When we enter the First World, we already feel incredibly happy. Each World has its own highest lord or god. When we meet the lord or god of this World (instead of his subordinates) we feel extremely blissful. And a thorough, radical change in our personality, thinking and way of life occurs. This change is unimaginable for us. Our power grows quickly, and our wisdom is instantly awakened. That’s why we think that we’ve reached the highest possible World. Many teachers don't require their ...

(Chinese) If a person uses means such as wealth, beauty, wine, meat, or fame to bind us to this world and hinder us from practicing and gaining liberation, that person is the subordinate of maya, or is probably himself the king of maya. Don't think that maya is only in hell. He’s in this world! However, those who bind us don’t look like the true maya. Charming individuals are also maya; those who give us a lot of money and like to cook meat and offer wine to us are all maya; those who don't practice spiritually ...

(Chinese) Do you know why Shakyamuni Buddha, after attaining the Buddhahood, wanted to enter Nirvana instead of delivering sentient beings? We have heard that we will act selflessly without ego once we attain Buddhahood or the highest spiritual level. What kind of state is that? Why does Supreme Master Ching Hai say that delivering sentient beings is still within the realm of human emotions, and that there are no sentient beings to be delivered but, rather, beings should deliver themselves? We have to ...

(English, German) What caused global warming to go unnoticed by humans? Why hasn’t this change of nature had enough attention paid to it? Supreme Master Ching Hai points out how to bring greater comfort and sustainability to our planet. How much people can receive depends on how they can overcome the negative waves of destructive media and destructive energy of the world. That's why we do as much as we can to spread the news. We hear of loving and heroic actions of noble human beings; we learn of animals that ...
