  • God of War: Ragnarok- Kratos vs Heimdall [ENG+ESP]

It’s been a few months now since I finished replaying both installments of God of War IV. Unfortunately, I was never able to share my experiences with that gaming masterpiece because I lost all my screenshots and gameplay videos. Or so I thought.
Inside the Videos/NVIDIA folder, I found some of my videos that apparently survived when I switched operating systems. Not all of them were there, but there were some really good ones. Among them is Kratos’s fight with what I consider to be the most insufferable and annoying enemy in the entire series. And yes, as you may have already guessed, I’m referring to **Heimdall**, who is undoubtedly the most arrogant *Aesir* of them all.

Before the fight, I was accompanying **Freya** in the world of Vanaheim as we searched for her brother. The exact location was the **Plains of Vanaheim**. And well, after some taunting from **Heimdall**, **Kratos** orders **Freya** to move on because he must face this challenge alone. So this battle is fought without assistance.
El lugar exacto era **Plains of Vanaheim**.

The first phase of the fight is against Heimdall and his mount, Gulltoppr. This part isn't usually difficult, since you can deal significant damage from a distance with the spear Draupnir until the mount's health bar is completely depleted and it is defeated.

The second phase of the battle is a one-on-one fight against Heimdall, who makes it clear from the start that he considers himself superior to Kratos. And that was indeed the case for a while, because every time Kratos managed to stun him, Heimdall would recover and dodge every single blow. But as the saying goes: third time’s the charm.

Heimdall himself couldn't believe that, after all these years, an opponent had finally made him bleed. What he also didn't expect was that Kratos was going to beat him to a pulp time and time again.
    ![](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/edeyglezsosa/23t7938nQY5XbNM2iLUo61Fx1cCNDr5htuH4eP7t9dV2Die3w6vnmMzPfwDkMhMsPKhcv.gif)
The second phase of the battle continued with several exchanges of blows, including Kratos’ Spartan Rage and a strange ability of Heimdall’s that allows him to slow down time, making it harder to react or dodge.

The second phase ends with Heimdall being impaled against a wall by the spear Draupnir, which was stuck in his right arm. Kratos, guided by Mimir’s words, had intended to spare his life in exchange for him staying away from Atreus, but faced with Heimdall’s threats, he had no choice but to detonate the spearhead, successfully tearing off Heimdall’s right arm.
    ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmPLLT7HgXprVatYUVdUj99HPj8vuRzjJxYD6vUPuLhfky/snapshot_12.png)
But far from stopping Heimdall, this action only enraged him further, to such an extent that he channeled his Aesir divinity into a new right arm made of pure ancient magic, thus ushering in the third phase of the battle.

In the third phase, the fight picks up the pace, and while I managed to land some solid combos on Heimdall, I have to admit he landed a few on me too.

    https://images.ecency.com/DQmePXKLruDApsK4eyKn5TptvTdV3WqinmBvyR6GGgNtvSL/snapshot_21.png
But since nothing lasts forever, the third phase and the battle itself end with Kratos—almost consumed by rage—strangling Heimdall with his own hands as Heimdall watches his life slip away before his very eyes. At the end, we see Heimdall’s body lying on the ground as the Gjallarhorn is taken from him. This object will later play a significant role in the story.

And that's all for today. I recommend watching the video for the full experience, since I've tried to roughly summarize the match using GIFs for my fellow countrymen who often can't watch the videos. I hope you enjoyed it, and please leave any suggestions or questions in the comments—as always, I'll be happy to answer them.

    ###### Greetings friends, crafters and craft lovers.
Today I have my green spirit soaring and I want to show you the power of recycling through a simple tutorial where I will show you how to make a beautiful floral ornament with a minimalist touch. The ornament is made from recycled corrugated cardboard and a medium LED bulb that I rescued from the junk. The corrugated cardboard I used is regular cardboard with the outer layers removed.
The ornament will not be accompanied by flashy colors, since the objective is to show the material it is made of and thus create awareness of the importance of recycling and second chances. In the tutorial I show some techniques that you can apply in your crafts, so I invite you to watch it. I hope you enjoy it. Let's start with the tutorial...

    ## Step by step // Paso a paso
1️⃣ Mark and cut out 20 petals on a piece of corrugated cardboard. Remove the flat side of the cardboard to obtain petals that are corrugated on both sides. Be careful when separating the petals, as they become very fragile when the two smooth sides of the cardboard are removed.

2️⃣ Roll up one of the petals and glue it to the end of one of the branches. Continue gluing the rest of the petals, layer by layer, and arch the petals so that the flower is open. Arch the outer petals to make the flower even more open.

3️⃣ On one of the cardboards taken from the corrugated cardboard, mark and cut out the sepal. Pierce the sepal and insert it through the other end of the branch to the base of the flower to glue it. Arch the tips of the sepals so that they point downward.

4️⃣ On corrugated cardboard, mark and cut out the outline of a leaf. Cut the leaves in half, invert one side and glue them back together. On another thinner branch, glue the leaves. Glue the branch with leaves to the stem of the flower and wrap with thin strips of cardboard or cardboard.

5️⃣ For the spike cut out a piece of cardboard or cardboard and glue it in half. Then make small cuts on the back of the cardboard and wrap it in a spiral around a thin branch.

6️⃣ An LED bulb will be used for the base. Separate the bulb part and cut out the metal part. On a piece of cardboard, mark and cut out a circle that will be glued to the wide part of the socket to seal that end. Paint the baseboard white. Once dry, glue thin strips of cardboard on the ends and fill with sand or some heavy material.

7️⃣ Put the flower and the spike in place. Be careful not to break the branches of the flower or the spike. Add more filler to the pot if necessary.

  • DIY: Fairy house for the garden. [ENG+ESP]

![blue international submarine day event facebook post.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/edeyglezsosa/23uQthzNWjP4qBY8z5HCTe58MGpwxZ2brRazNB9ZWevVUZj876GdHGqfQbQVJ8F1gtZGP.png)
    #### Greetings community.
In the gardening world there is a popular belief that in every garden lives a fairy who works all spring and part of the summer to make the flowers look beautiful. The point is that sometimes they work so hard that they don't have time to build themselves a shelter for the winter. That is why sometimes we can see tiny houses in some gardens and many people build these houses for the fairies in gratitude for the great work they do.
With this in mind, I decided to build a little house for the fairy in my garden. So today I bring you a tutorial where I will show you how to make a fairy house for the garden. I'll be using recycled materials and fomi cutouts.
The design of the house is inspired by a tree trunk covered by some moss and a strawberry vine. I hope you like it. Let's start with the tutorial.
    >>#### Saludos comunidad.
    >

    ## Step by step // Paso a paso
1️⃣ Mark and cut out three circles with irregular edges and staggered sizes. Glue them together to form the base and in the middle glue one and a half cardboard tubes. Repeat the process for the upper floor but on a smaller scale and glue both parts together.

This way the fairy house for the garden is ready. I hope you liked the tutorial as much as the fairy in my garden liked it. I also hope you are encouraged to make your own fairy house. I'll say goodbye for now, but I'll be back soon to bring you another of my crafts. See you soon.

    Greetings, community of artisans.
Recently, I had the pleasure of receiving the visit of a friend and his wife at my home. After chatting for a while, I showed them some of my crafts and they were delighted with the design of the key holder I published a few days ago. You can see it [here](https://peakd.com/hive-130560/@edeyglezsosa/cdaxzwly) if you don't know what I'm talking about.
Faced with such a situation, I had no choice but to promise to make them an ornament inspired by the key holder, since I was not going to give them mine to remove the hooks, because they did not want the key holder as such, but rather the upper part.
So today I bring you a tutorial in which I will be showing you how to make a wall hanging inspired by one I made earlier. The design is roughly the same: a wall of a house with a window, curtains and flowers around it. To avoid doing the same thing and not recycle content, I changed the window design, the flowers, added new techniques, elements and changed many of the materials. I hope you like it. Let's start...
    >>Saludos, comunidad de artesanos.
    >
Comencemos…

  • How to make a teabag dispenser using recycled cardboard. [ENG+ESP]
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=edeyglezsosa/mfvystrz
![DIY Organizador de bolsitas de te (1).png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/edeyglezsosa/23wgKyTJaFATW9hxd1yPf1mucRz1Kz1ZWWQWzX4N94dMfV236zSrgy9gJii193aRixSQM.jpg)
A tea bag dispenser is one of those things that you don't know what you want until you see it, especially if you are like me, who enjoys a good cup of green tea every now and then. Taking advantage of the fact that I am recently introducing my wife to the world of tea drinking, I came up with the idea of creating a tea bag dispenser that is not only very useful for organizing the tea bags, but also adds an aesthetic touch to the kitchen at home.
For its elaboration I used 100% recycled materials and acrylic paint in different colors. The dispenser has two storage sections in which the tea bags and some sweetener sachets will be stored. The standard size of the dispenser is designed for the paper sachets that contain the tea bags, but it still works perfectly with the tea bags alone.

4️⃣ Paper the entire structure and once dry, glue it to the base. Next, you will cut out rectangles of 2 cm x 7 cm to form a fence, which will be held by two strips of white cardboard.

5️⃣ Using a triangular piece, you will glue the two sections of the roof together. The tiles are made from a piece of cardboard from which one side is removed. For a better finish, glue around the edge of the roof some strips of white cardboard and paint the top of the varnish or carmelite paint.

Greetings lovers of the world of art and crafts.
Today I have the pleasure of being again in this beautiful community sharing with you another of my works. This time I bring you a tutorial in which I will show you how to make a magnet decorated with the shape of a tree covered with sunflowers.
At first this decoration had no predefined owner, but when my sister-in-law came home from work and saw it, she fell in love with it and, as I know that she loves sunflowers, I decided to give it to her as a present since her birthday is coming soon.
But I don't want to start with the tutorial without telling you that at home there are divided opinions about what the ornament really is, since some people think it is a bouquet of sunflowers, while others, like me, say it is a little tree decorated with lots of sunflowers. So I ask you to leave me in the comments what you think this ornament really is. Let's get started...
Comencemos…

    ## Step by step // Paso a paso
1️⃣ We will start with the pot. The first thing to do is to take a plastic container and cut it in half. Then fill it with a piece of cut out polystyrene and line it with carmelite fomi and decorate it with a strip of black fomi.

2️⃣ For the upper part of the tree, cut out a circular piece of polystyrene and sharpen the edges to give it that trimmed feeling. Then heat a green fomi sheet which we will press, cut out and glue on top of the polystyrene.

3️⃣ On a yellow fomi sheet, draw and cut out the silhouettes of several sunflowers. Then, they will be heated so that they acquire a curved shape and then a circle of brown fomi will be glued in the center of each flower.

4️⃣ Once the flowers are ready, proceed to glue them on top of the tree until they cover it completely. Try not to glue them too close together, as some space must be left for the leaves.

5️⃣ Now it is the turn of the stem. For the stem, the wires are rolled up and glued to the back of the tree crown. So that the stem wire does not stick out, a small cavity will be dug in the polystyrene. After the stem is glued, it should be wrapped with floral tape or green fomi strips.

6️⃣ Next we will glue the pot to the bottom of the stem and cover the top of the pot using artificial grass. To give a better finish to the ornament, we will cover the back part with green and carmelite fomi.

7️⃣ To finish, we will place a small ribbon of frosted fomi on the trunk of the tree. We will also place the leaves in the spaces between the sunflowers. And as it is an ornament to hang on metal surfaces, we will glue some magnets on the back. These magnets can be purchased or, as in my case, can be extracted from broken headphones.

    ## Step by step // Paso a paso
1️⃣ The first thing to do is to draw a square and a triangle on top, which when cut out will give the silhouette of a house. To the silhouette of the house will be glued small squares of embossed cardboard, which are obtained by removing one side of a piece of cardboard. The entire surface of the silhouette should not be covered, since it is necessary to leave space for a window (measurements in the video).

2️⃣ Using the same embossed cardboard, the edges, base and roof of the house will be made. The only difference is that the cardboard, instead of squares, will be cut into strips.

3️⃣ To make the window, use a rectangle of transparent plastic to which thin strips of white cardboard will be glued to simulate the frames and divisions of the window. Before placing the window, a towelette will be used to make curtains that will be glued underneath the window.
5️⃣ Once the structure of the house is ready, the next step is to make the ornamental pieces. To do this, it is necessary to mark in fomi the silhouette of a flower and cut it out. For a change, two shades of pink and a deep red have been used. Then, with the help of a die or by drawing freehand, the silhouettes of the leaves are marked and cut out.

6️⃣ The decoration begins with the leaves, which once glued give way to the flowers. Once the flowers are glued in place, cut out small yellow circles to glue them in the center of each flower and then draw orange dots with the help of a marker.

7️⃣ After putting the fomi decoration in place, the base, sides of the house and the window are colored. In this case, a transparent varnish was used to darken the cardboard and give it a wooden look.

8️⃣ Finally, the hooks will be made from a thick wire, using a pair of tweezers. The three hooks will be wrapped in a thin strip of caramel-colored fomi and glued to the bottom of the house.

The [paperweights](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pisapapeles) are very useful objects created in the years of the Industrial Revolution and used, as their name suggests, to keep papers organized in one place. This object gained a lot of popularity in those times, becoming indispensable in an office. Over time, they became more of a decorative object, but they can still be found.
With this in mind, I came up with the idea of creating an ornament that would not only be decorative, but could also be used as a paperweight, looking for a balance between cute and useful. The difference is that my paperweight has something special, and that is that since it is shaped like a little house, the office fairy can move into it and organize all the paperwork for us at night.
So, if you work in an office, have a lot of clutter and need a fairy organizer, I invite you to watch the following tutorial where I will show you how to create a paperweight in the shape of a fairy house. Who knows, maybe a fairy organizer will move into your office? Let's get started!
¡Comencemos!*

    ## Summary // Resumen
1️⃣ To begin, the first thing to do is to create the base structure. To do this, a small glass knob will be used, to which pieces of cardboard will be placed on the lid, which will be the roof of the house (measurements in the video).

  • DIY Tutorial: Multicolored tulip bouquet.

Greetings friends, artisans and craft lovers. Today I bring you a craft that can get more than one of you out of a tight spot, because it can be a very nice gift that we can make at the last minute. As you may have noticed, this time I will show you how to create a beautiful bouquet of multicolored tulips using mainly fomi, except for the stems and pistils.
It turns out that my mom's aunt had a birthday and since I have been doing some floral themed crafts lately, my mom asked me to make her a bouquet of tulips to give to my aunt, since she is a fan of flowers. You can't imagine what a beautiful garden she has.
The truth is that I had not had the opportunity to find out about the colors of tulips, so at the last minute I had the idea of making multicolored tulips using the colors of fomi that I had available. Shortly thereafter, my wife informed me that each color, both in the tulips and in the other flowers, has its meaning. I hope that the colors I used in the bouquet do not have a negative meaning.

    ## 📋 Step by step 📋
1️⃣ To begin with, the first thing I did was to use a spoon and mark its outline on a sheet of red fomi with the help of a pen without ink. The silhouette I used is formed by a pattern of three petals. After marking the pattern in different colors, I cut them all out.

2️⃣ Making use of a thermoforming iron, each of the patterns, after heating the fomi, I pressed it with a spoon to obtain the desired concave shape. In the videotutorial I warn it, but I want to do it here as well. It is necessary to be very careful when thermoforming, as there is a possibility of getting burns.

3️⃣ Next, I unwound about a foot of RJ-45 cable to use the wires inside. Each wire comes in pairs, but to increase the thickness, I decided to join two pairs together to form a stronger wire.

4️⃣ Next, I placed three yellow pipe cleaners side by side and cut them into small pieces. Similarly, I attached three small pieces to one end of the freshly coiled wires. Thus I would give formed the structure of the stem and its pistil.

5️⃣ As the stems should be mostly green, I wrapped them all with floral tape and trimmed some of them, as they will not have the same height in the bouquet. You should be careful when trimming the stems so that you don't have some flowers of the same color at the same height, as I did.

6️⃣ Once the stems are ready, we can begin to assemble the flowers. To do this, we must pierce each of the fomi patterns in the center. Then, we introduce the stems and glue the petals together to form the first part of the tulip. Repeat the process with the first layer and the tulips are ready.

7️⃣ The tulips are ready, but, as the title says, it is a bouquet, so they must be joined together. To join the tulips and form the bouquet, I used floral tape to fix their stems at the base of the bouquet. Not only the base of the bouquet, where the tall tulips are separated from the short ones, but I also applied some floral tape.
    https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/edeyglezsosa/23w2qMEHnVfdQg3as1dPMVPZaFWryf5EEKLKfMVoYF93m6QtS6Jvz9m25EwVXoefjxQpY.PNG

8️⃣ Already the tulip bouquet was taking shape, but it needed leaves. To make the leaves I used an inkless pen and traced the outline of the leaves on a sheet of green fomi. After cutting out the leaves, I thermoformed them and, once hot, folded them in half and scrunched them into the shape shown below.

9️⃣ With the leaves ready, I could add them to the bouquet and that's what I did. I started by placing a couple at the base of the bouquet, where the stems begin to separate, and then placed two higher up on the level that separates the tall flowers from the short ones. This way, the tulip bouquet would be ready, but I felt something was missing.

🔟 After placing the leaves, I felt that the bottom of the tulip bouquet was too empty, so I decided to add a bow. Looking through the scraps of fomi, I found a sheet of frosted caramel-colored fomi and decided to make a bow for the bouquet.
To make the bow, I folded the fomi in three parts and squeezed it in the middle. To keep the shape, I added a ribbon around it and then attached it to the bouquet in the place I thought it would be most suitable.

This way the bouquet of multicolored tulips, decorated with a bow and made mostly with fomi, would be ready. I hope you liked this craft and that it will be useful in the future to make your own bouquet of tulips. I must say that my mom's aunt loved the gift and is already looking for a way to place it in a vase.
Without further ado, I bid you farewell, but not before reminding you that I will be back soon to share with you another little piece of my creative world.

Greetings friends of the **Hive DIY** community. For me it is a real pleasure to be here again sharing with you another of my crafts. Today I bring you a simple tutorial in which I show you step by step how to make a beautiful cardboard lamp with a modern style. This lamp is 100% functional and is made using recycled cardboard cut into pallets and placed one on top of the other to form a very peculiar geometric structure.
To make the base I used the casing of a damaged LED bulb and by inverting its position I managed to obtain a beautiful base for my lamp. What an irony of life, first it was a bulb and now it is part of a lamp. But well, let's get down to business and start with the tutorial, which I hope you enjoy.

    ## Step by step // Paso a paso
1️⃣ To begin, the first thing I did was to use a wooden pallet to mark and cut out its shape on several pieces of cardboard. Each of these cardboard pallets must be cut out carefully, as they must be the same length and width.

2️⃣ After cutting out the cardboard popsicle sticks, I realized that some were very weak and bent, so I decided to glue them in pairs. By gluing them in pairs, I got bigger but also stronger popsicles. I glued these new popsicle sticks together at the corners to form several squares.

3️⃣ I painted each of the pallet squares white on both sides and then painted their edges black. In case anyone wonders why I didn't paint the pallets first and then glue them together, the answer is simple: if I paint before gluing I run the risk of weakening the bond later.

4️⃣ Once the squares were dry, I placed and glued them one on top of the other, but making sure that the position of one did not coincide with the other. In this way I achieved that the top of the lamp obtained this peculiar and beautiful geometric shape.

5️⃣ For the base, I disassembled a large LED bulb and kept its housing. From the bulb housing, I removed the socket connection and part of the shade attachment system. I then painted, cut out and attached a piece of cardboard to the bulb housing, thus forming the base for my lamp.

6️⃣ After creating the base of the lamp, I joined it to the rest of the structure. To finish, I drilled the center of the lamp to pass the power cable of the LED bulb that I placed in the center, which would be the light source of the lamp.

And so much for this tutorial in which I showed you how to make a cardboard lamp in a modern style. I must say that while writing the post I realized that the lamp itself can also be used as an organizer, since the top part also looks like a kind of woven basket. So you know, if you don't want a lamp, at least get an organizer.
And now I say goodbye, but not before reminding you that you can leave me in the comments section any comments or questions regarding the tutorial, as always, I will be happy to answer them. See you next time!
