The quarterly eDiscovery Business Confidence Survey provides insight into the business conditions and expectations of eDiscovery professionals. The most recent results of this quarterly survey indicate that there has been a decrease in confidence in the current business climate, with only 36.9% of respondents characterizing it as good, compared to 56.0% in the fall of 2022. There has also been a decrease in optimism for the next six months, with only 29.2% expecting better business conditions compared to 37.0% in the fall of 2022. In terms of revenue expectations, only 32.3% of respondents felt that revenue in the next six months will be higher than today. Additionally, increasing budgetary constraints were viewed as potentially having the greatest impact on business in the next six months by 32.3% of respondents.

According to a recent update from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the major phase of Russian offensive operations in Luhansk Oblast is underway, and Russia likely lacks sufficient uncommitted reserves to dramatically increase the scale or intensity of the offensive this winter. Additionally, the current pattern of commitment in Luhansk Oblast indicates that Russian forces in this area are deploying in doctrinal units and formations from the military-district level down to the brigade/regiment level at least, and likely down to the battalion level as well.
