We've all seen the commercials...watched the ads on social media...and even had the mailers sent to our address in bulk.   The discount real estate brokerages promising all the services that  a full-service REALTOR® will provide, but at that amazing "1%" price tag.   It sounds too good to be true!  And that's because it is.  It's the marking tactic that draws you in, but often fails to deliver.   

In this episode of the Educate Real Estate Podcast, we dive into the misleading advertising and the UGLY TRUTH behind the discount real estate brokerages and the promises they make that are hard for them to keep.  We discuss the differences between the "discount agent" and the skill set and expertise of a full-service Realtor.  We'll address a few options that discount brokerages offer, and shine a spot light on just what you can expect with their plans.   We also offer advice on what you should do if you're in the market to hire a Realtor, and what to consider when hiring a qualified agent.
