Piotr is from Lebanon and currently lives in Paris. He discovered the world of meditation and mindfulness during a trip in Thailand. This life-changing practice led him switch his perspectives on his work, relationships and inner peace. Mindfulness is not only a state of mind, it's also a philosophy and an opening to spirituality. 

Durant l'été 2021, Mathilde me propose d'aller à un festival de musique dans la Creuse. Pour s'y rendre, il faut faire de l'auto-stop en costume depuis Paris. Cette aventure nous rapproche, on découvre les patelins français en faisant de belles rencontres sur la route. On se rend compte qu'on ne sort pas assez de la capitale et on se méfie beaucoup des autres à cause de notre éducation. Cependant, lorsqu'on s'ouvre à l'inconnu, on vit pleinement notre voyage et on s'enrichit culturellement des trésors cachés de la France.

Lors de mon voyage en auto-stop, j'ai rencontré René et Joëlle qui habitent dans la Beauce. René et Joëlle sont mariés depuis bientôt 57 ans et ont travaillé dans le milieu publicitaire. Ce couple pétillant de vie raconte l'histoire de la Beauce, les anecdotes de jeunesse et comment ce milieu agricole évolue. 

Mai was born in Vietnam and came to Canada to study. Unfortunately, she did not get into the school she applied to but managed to get back on her feet and started an accounting career. She initially lived with her aunt and felt a bit pressure to perform well due to family pressure. Mai talks about her past and how much she grew by adapting to the Canadian culture. This adaptation and flexibility are what made her a stronger person.

Franciele is from Brazil and is working as an English tutor on Italki. We both share our common experience on this language teaching platform to list the pros and cons of meeting random people from all around the world. Matthew grew up in Indiana and currently lives in Colorado Springs. He founded the Local Agriculture Expansion Foundation (LAEF) to help farmers grow their business after being inspired by the numerous farmer's markets in France. He wants to promote local food and reconnect our roots with food. We also discuss the cost and benefits of cleaner energy as an optimist future for our future generation.

Mohamed et Marwa ont grandit en France avec un parcours en économie. Ils sont venus a Montreal, QC pour finir leurs etudes et ont tous les deux decidé de se lancer dans le baby sitting. Mohamed garde des enfants issus d'une famille française alors que Marwa s'occupe des enfants québécois. Dans cet episode, nous discutons du role du baby-sitter dans l'education des enfants, et où s'arrêtent les responsabilités d'education. Quelles sont les differences entre l'education française et québécoise? Comment est-ce que les baby-sitters pourraient mitiger la communication entre parents-enfants? Chieko has been working as a paralegal in Los Angeles, California after completing a BA in international affairs and working at Americorps. Her specialty is immigration law and she will start law school at UCLA next year. She reveals challenges for both immigrants and lawyers in the application process. Somehow, helping people in need gave her a great sense of purpose as she witnessed her own mother's challenges with her green card.
