After emerging as a key issue in the 2016 Presidential Election, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that DACA was ending in March of 2018 unless Congress created its own version of the program.

Immigration attorney Kimberly Grant discusses how DACA emerged in 2001 as “The Dream Act” yet never passed both houses of Congress.
