In honor of black history month, we will be talking about one of my personal heroes, Mary Ellen Pleasant.  Regarded as the Mother of Human Rights in California, the Harriet Tubman of California, the Marie Laveau of San Francisco, Rosa Parks 100 years before Rosa Parks, and the first black female millionaire in America.
And no one seems to know about her.  And that's mostly because she's been demonized and demeaned by the masses.  So let's learn more about how she ACTUALLY was together.
