Who’s ready for Thanksgiving? I share my thanksgiving plans and a sneak peak at my newly finished novel. (Also, I miss you. More shows soon. )

This was originally recorded in 2019 at my Grandfather’s home in Goose Creek. I sit down to interview William Dale Ribbeck aka ‘Papa Dale’ and we discuss his big life as a sailor in the United States Navy. He retired as a distinguished Master Diver and his impact on my life is immeasurable. He passed away peacefully in his sleep last night and I am sharing this episode again as a comfort to myself and the many many many people who loved him. When I moved to New York in my early twenties he left me with this advice and I think we can all use it.

“Keep your nose clean ands don’t take no wooden nickels.”
