March 17, 2019 2019 Australian Grand Prix Post Pod with special guest Sean Kelly
Well what a weekend!
We had incredible access to some of the movers and shakers of the world of Formula 1 and they all walked straight past us, but wow did they smell good.One man who took the time to say G'day (in a rather good Aussie accent) was the Stat Czar, The Sheik of statistical analysis, Sean 'Tim Tam' Kelly. He helps us hand out the post race awards and yell out to unaware drivers.
With Seb being in the area, he drops by for a chat, we talk our usual post race dribble, recap championship points that now include the inagural Dung Championship. From 11th to 20th we award negative points and we see who takes away the polished turn trophy!
Thank you Melbourne and thank you to all of the people involved with the race here and the F1 circus itself, with special thanks to Sean Kelly for being very generous of his time, Will Buxton for stopping by as well.
Unfortunately we lost one of the great guys this week with the passing of Charlie Whiting.
RIP Charlie and thank you.
