We turn our attention to Make Music Day. Every year on June 21 Make Music Day is celebrated in 700+ cities in 120 countries. On Friday, June 21 just here in Kansas City, there are 100+ performances around the KC Metro. Music will be everywhere from downtown to South JOCO, up to the Kansas City International Airport, KCK to the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium.
On the radio show, we'll hear music from (hopefully) a dozen of the acts that are part of Make Music Day KC:
