Guggenheim can insist she never introduced Charles to Epstein, but the problem is that these denials are often delivered in a vacuum, without transparency, documentation, or a willingness to open the books. In the Epstein ecosystem, too many people have tried to firewall their reputations with carefully worded statements, betting that the press won’t dig past the headline. Whether her claim is true or not, it lands in the same well-worn pattern: elite figures distancing themselves from Epstein only when their names surface, and offering little more than their own word as proof.
