In July 1952 there were two days when UFOs flew right over the White House area. Truman gave an order for the objects to be shot down. This led to people all over sending telegrams to the White House pleading for Truman not to do it.

Today I present a tape from Frank Edwards who was a major radio broadcaster of the 1950s. He also wrote a couple of UFO books. In this 1956 lecture in Detroit he talks about the Washington overflights, the shootdown order, and what Einstein told the President.

What he said should be repeated to all the fearful military elements who actually believe they are going to send young Americans to fight whatever the intelligence is behind the UFOs. It is a Fool's errand.
