Aleena Itrat was born on 6 june in Nagina district Bijnor (U.P.). She is currently associated with a school. Her first nazm 'takmeel' was published in ''Aalami Sahara''and after that her poetry has been regularly published in various magazines.

Khizaan or autumn has fascinated poets since long. This influenced the poet, Mehboob Siddiqui, who chose the pen name, Mehboob Khizaan. He was born on 1st July 1930 at Chandaair in District Baliya. After partition, he moved to Pakistan. In 1952 he passed the competition of C.S.P and became the Assistant Accountant General of Punjab. He retired from the post of Accountant General of Sindh on 30 June 1990. Mehboob Khizaan now lives a retired life in Karachi. He is unmarried and never had a literary guide. Akeli Bastiyaan is the collection of his poetry.

Abdul Hayee (8 March 1921 – 25 October 1980), popularly known by his takhallus (pen name) Sahir Ludhianvi, was an Indian Poet and Film Songs Lyricist who wrote in the Hindi and Urdu languages.His work influenced Indian cinema, in particular Bollywood film. This Gazal is from Hum Dono (1961).

Raghupati Sahay (28 August 1896 – 3 March 1982), better known under his pen name Firaq Gorakhpuri, was a writer, critic, and, according to one commentator, one of the most noted contemporary Urdu poets from India. This Gazal is called "Thar Thari Si Hai Aasmano Mein" and was penned by the legendary poet in the year of 1939.

Dushyant Kumar (1 September 1933 – 30 December 1975) was a poet of modern Hindi literature. He is famous for writing Hindi Gazals, and is generally recognised as one of the foremost Hindi poets of the 20th century. "Kaise Manzar Saamne Aane Lage Hain" is a part of his Gazal Collection "Saaye Mein Dhoop".
